The Umatilla County Fair Kick-Off Parade is good old-fashioned family fun! It's also a great opportunity for entrants to show off their creative side. If you're interested in taking part, read the important information below. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call.
Anyone wishing to sell or offer items along the parade route during the Umatilla County Fair Kick-Off Parade must obtain a permit through the fair office.

Parade Information
- The Umatilla County Fair Kick-Off Parade is free to enter!
- Must be entered by July 15, 2025. Late entries will NOT be accepted.
- Ribbons are awarded for first place in each judged division:
- Overall Best Entry "Sweepstakes Award"
- Theme Award "A Blue Ribbon Future"
- Best Float
- Best Equestrian
- Best Motorized
- Best Royalty
- Best Dance
- Best Bands & Music
- Best Non-Float
- First-place ribbons are awarded in all divisions and will be available 2 weeks after the fair at the fair office. Please call before pick-up.
- Space is limited. The first 110 entries will be accepted.
Our fair has been the summer destination of choice in Umatilla County since 1912!
